'NO GUITARS'

Realtime, hands-on, looper and effect processor. Here being driven solely by one of Tom Bugs' PostcardWeevil noise generators.
In theory this whole unit can be (has been) battery powered but that's impractical so I run it all off a single 9v PSU.

A create set up that begs to tweaked! One small comment that I would make is that the pedals could really benefit from being connected through a matrix mixer. The entire set up would then be an incredibly complex beast! There are quite a few passive schematics on the web (I use a mackie headphone amp to the same effect). Great blog by the way

This site is a glimpse of what I work on in my spare time between my various day jobs (Carter Tutti, Chris & Cosey, recording, performing and Throbbing Gristle etc.). The CCCL project involves a fair bit of audio circuitry R&D, prototyping and building and some retro circuit modification, although I wouldn't really describe it as 'circuit bending' endeavor. One of my larger assemblages is the "no Guitars' Boss pedal board (see elsewhere on this blog). I also work with a number of other combinations of desktop effects units, sound generators, synths, iPods/Pads and handheld devices. At this relatively early stage this project could go in a number of directions, although any direction will be of an experimental nature. Occasionally I will make some of my experiments and compositions available online but the fruition and final outcome of all this project is still to be determined.
